Additionally, the course includes sessions on maintaining your momentum on both blue and red trails, which are designed to challenge and develop your riding abilities.
Off the beaten path, the course allocates time to perfecting your bike handling. Understanding the physics of how to absorb the features of the trail is crucial, and the instruction provided will guide you to master this. By the end of the course, you will be equipped with the knowledge and techniques to do just that.

FIND YOUR FLOW

Description

The course covers more aggressive riding positions and introduces a more dynamic style of riding. It also provides the tools to manual, tackle drop-offs at speed, and pump the bike for maintaining momentum. You will learn to flow over roots and rocks, and corner effectively with a newfound flow and grip.

Upon completing the Find Your Flow course, you will possess a particularly solid foundation in your riding for sustained development and enhancement.

    What we cover in this course

  • Advanced body position techniques for a more flowing ride. For use on rougher terrain and where it gets a little steeper

  • Wheel lifts, used for weighting and unweighting your bike to find grip when the terrain becomes challenging.

  • More advanced cornering techniques and lower body movement. For use on berms, switchbacks and flat corners.

  • How to identify places to brake and how to brake effectively when you get there.

  • Using line choice to join up features on the trail for maintaining flow.

Description

The jumps, hops, and drops course will teach you techniques you can use in everyday riding, giving you confidence in the air. In addition to learning to jump, we will teach you how to find flow, pump to maintain momentum and set yourself up for jumps.

You will also touch on manuals, bunny hops, and using your weight effectively. All these skills are brought together to learn to jump with your mountain bike.

TRACKLE STEEPER
TECHNICAL TRAILS

Description

Technical skills course. Tackle steeper, natural trails. For the more experienced mountain biker who wants to learn extra technical skills for riding rougher, steeper, more technical terrain. We will teach you advanced body positioning that assists your flow on more challenging lines, to find confidence from grip, not from your brakes.

We will cover most features found on Expert graded trails and beyond. All on the steeper, challenging natural trails of La Paz.
